ABSTRACT
In this paper, we propose a new descriptor, PCA-SC descriptor, which applies PCA algorithm to overcome the shortcomings of SC method in the field of high dimensional feature matrix, large computational complexity and weak anti-noise performance. As a result, PCA-SC algorithm can reduce the dimension of feature matrix, simplify the computational complexity, improve matching speed, suppress noise interference, and enhance the rate of recognition effectively.
