ABSTRACT

External synchronization feature is an important indicator to determine whether the camera can meet test requirement. The frequency of the external synchronization signal determines the frequency of the camera sync shooting. If the external sync signal frequency is 200 Hz, the camera can shoot 200 images per second. The highest shooting frequency of some new high-speed camera can reach hundreds millions of frames/ sec controlled by its inner clock control. From the standpoint of both particle measurement and attitude measurement, as long as the realtime image download rate (bandwidth) and the rate of the memory capacity allows, the higher imaging frequency should be applied. A higher imaging frequency is more conducive to the use of inter-frame information on the characteristics of flight segments and characteristics of events for analysis, processing, resulting in higher accuracy of the test data.
