ABSTRACT
In some studies, experimental investigations were considered to calibrate the results estimated by FEM. The thermal history and residual deformation of double-sided fillet welding were studied numerically and experimentally by Biswas et al. (2009). Michaleris and DeBiccari (1997) compared numerical calculations with the experimental data from the welded small and large scale specimens to validate the scalability of the results.
