ABSTRACT
Wu’an City located in the border of Shanxi, Hebei, Shandong and Henan province with the total area of 1819 km2, and its geographic location is in longitude 113 ° 45′∼ 114 ° 22′, latitude 36 ° 28′∼ 37 ° 01′. Wu’an City located in the south of HeBei province, belonging to the Handan City, HeBei province with 22 townships and 502 administrative villages. It is mountainous counties which can be divided into three types: the mountains (29.7% of the total area), hilly areas (45%) and basins (25.3%). With west high & east low terrain, its land types are rich and varied. With rich mineral resources, Wu’an City is an important energy base in north China, and it’s 58 national key coalproducing counties (cities) and one of the four rich iron ore base throughout the country.
