ABSTRACT
There are a number of other industries located in close proximity to the mines the Latrobe Valley in addition. Gippsland Soil and Water Organic Recycling Facility (SORF) receive and treat domestic and industrial wastewater and other solid and liquid wastes. Waste material from the SORF is processed to form a high quality compost which is compliant with Australian standards.
