ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: In order to detect the haemodynamic parameters in the brain, a set of multichannel and dual wavelength system is designed and implemented based on near infrared spectroscopy. The system adopted the array probe and it can be applied for dierent objects because the measured area and the detecting spacing can be adjusted according to the actual requirement. The software Lab Windows/CVI is selected as the development platform and it has the advantages of good compatibility and real-time performance. The program has a friendly interface between hardware and software. The time resolution of the system is 100 ms and the system can rapidly reflect the change trend of hemodynamic parameters of the brain tissue. Through the in vivo monitoring of cerebral hemodynamic parameters in the mathematical logic operation task, the trend of haemoglobin changes is in line with the theory. The experimental results demonstrate that the blood oxygen detection technology based on near infrared spectroscopy can accurately provide haemodynamic information for the research of brain function.
