ABSTRACT
Public health is a basic guarantee for citizens in a whole country or in a whole region, which is correlated to every citizen’s physical and psychological health. Our country’s construction of public health aims at improving rural primary health care service and urban basic medical service, satisfying the need of rural and urban citizens for basic health services. Job satisfaction means after one evaluates his job or his work experience, he feels happy and vibrant. Public health personnel is the main force who provide public health service. Therefore, paying due attention to their job satisfaction is the way to bring into full play their enthusiasm to do well their own work, which will improve the present level of our country’s public health. We surveyed the public health personnel in HanChuan city of Hubei province and made an investigation of their job satisfaction.
