ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: Human PCG and ECG signals change significantly before and after taking exercise. This paper presents a new method called wavelet frequency band energy quotient as a physiology evaluation parameter of human exercise intensity. Firstly, the paper analyzes the characteristics of PCG and ECG signals, then puts forward a frequency band energy quotient algorithm based on wavelet packet decomposition, and verifies its validity and applicability by making three groups of simulation experiments. Finally, combined theory with practice, a new kind of human exercise intensity detector is designed. This paper not only has made a qualitative analysis of PCG and ECG signals, but also made detailed quantitative analysis. Experimental results demonstrate that the human exercise intensity detector has good classification and recognition eects, with simple and reliable hardware design as well as good adjustability on detecting standard, the detector can evaluate the human exercise intensity correctly and properly.
