ABSTRACT
In some cases, in the Rammed earth technique, or in the Poured Clay, it is possible to find some inert materials like stones to give more strength to the lower part of the wall.
In Shali we found a very interesting form of earthen construction that mixes salt blocks, coming out from the deposits left by the drying of the salt lake that generates the oasis, and the salt mud created by the process of sweetening of land for the cultivation of palm trees.
