Restoration of the dry stone masonry channel at the Monastery of L’Estany

When the process of recovering the buried channel began in 2009, only five of the existing access shafts were visible from the surface. The remaining ones had been covered with stone slabs at the top and refilled with landfill, so one of the first challenges was to pinpoint the exact course of the underground gallery.
