ABSTRACT
Widening reconstruction works of Panama Canal allow the vessels up to 12,000 TEU to use this waterway. The new Panamax vessel-maximum vessel to pass the Panama Canal, has the main particulars almost equal to the largest ships in the world: 385.7 m length, 54.9 m beam and 15.2 m draft.
