ABSTRACT
One of the most common measures of road safety is road mortality rate, a demographically normalised way of measuring road safety (Hollo et al., 2010). It can be used to build estimation models and forecast road deaths, assess road safety and the effectiveness of treatment. The rate differs significantly from country to country.
