ABSTRACT

The data produced by reliability engineering are used by the rest of the specialty engineering disciplines and most of the time those data are the prerequisite as the starting point. (Dikbaş 2011).

There are four main reliability engineering processes that are carried over at the very early phases of a design project and updated during the development phase of the project. Those are modeling, allocation, prediction and Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA). MILSTD-785B can be used as a reference for conducting a reliability program.
