ABSTRACT
Linqing Depression (East) has a basic tectonic style of “Two hollow and one convex”. A series of half grabens and half horsts controlled by centripetal fault form the complex ancient geographical landscape in stratigraphic sequence of Paleogene System. Half grabens and half horsts are the result of tilt fault block’s differential elevation. Tilt fault is the basic building block in fault basin which has genetic significance (Liu Z Q, 2004).
