ABSTRACT
The application of additives WEC provided a neutral sizing system at pH of 7.2 to 7.8. Compared to the acidic sizing condition at pH of 5.5 to 6.5 before the WEC added, the neutral system can overcome the acid corrosion and keep better retention of colloidal particles as well as reduce pulp lump in the system, showing an outstanding performance on the promotion of cleanliness in the papermaking system.
