ABSTRACT
From 2007 to 2012, total energy consumption increased year by year. Hunan province energy consumption increased from 116289900 tons of standard coal in 2007 to 167440800 tons of standard coal in 2012, an average annual growth rate of 7.6 percent, far below the average annual GDP growth rate 14.5%. Total energy consumption in Hunan Province in 2007 was 80.8084 million tons of standard coal for industrial, 1.8439 million tons of standard coal used for construction, additional transportation, warehousing postal consumed 7,862,700 tons of standard coal consumption 12.141 million tons of standard coal, wholesale, retail trade and accommodation and catering industry consumed 4,685,500 tons of standard coal. Total energy consumption in Hunan Province in 2012, 106,059,700 tons of standard coal for industrial, 3.7217 million tons of standard coal used for construction, additional transportation, warehousing postal 11.4654 million tons of standard coal consumption, consumption 23.894 million tons of standard coal, wholesale, retail trade and accommodation and catering industry consumed 7,904,700 tons of standard coal.
