ABSTRACT
In general, the legal system of ecological compensation in ethnic areas is not systematic, with fragmentary clauses in different types of normative documents, and a complete legal system not formed. For example, The Ethnic Minorities Autonomy Law only provides that the State be obliged to make compensation to the minority areas, Environmental Law presents by principle the need establishing ecological compensation mechanism. The imperfection of the legal system has caused many problems. Its management is not in place, ecological compensation standard not specific, ecological compensation subject not clear, and compensation method not flexible.
