ABSTRACT

In geomechanics perceptions about origin mechanism and development of bottom heaving confirms that the main factor is increasing rock pressure in sides of mine working. This pressure creates as stamp on bottom sinking. This process is shown on Figure 1 where with help of vectors illustrates direction changing of full displacements of near-the-contour rocks from vertical in roof, practically horizontal in the district of frame support props to inclined and vertical in bottom closer to mine working axis. Similar vector perception was received in real work with help of physical model of rock that represents full deformation diagram. Stages of weakening and fracturing are determinative in the process of plastic yielding development in bottom rocks of in-seam working.
