ABSTRACT
The mining industry is the main source of raw materials for metallurgical enterprises. Unfortunately, it poses an ecological threat to environmental objects.
The underground mining of iron ore is carried out by drilling and blasting with the use of TNT containing explosives, in which mine air, contaminating by the explosion products and iron ore dust is emitted into the air without any treatment and it constitutes a menace for the environmental components in areas of enterprises disposal. Long and large-scale production of iron ore led to higher levels of pollution of air, water bodies, land as well as to the accumulation of significant amounts of industrial waste.
