ABSTRACT
Scientific research evaluation is an important part of science research management. It is not only conducive to the smooth progress of research activities, raise research level, but also conducive to promote research communication, innovation and development. How to improve the scientific research evaluation system, evaluation methods, has become an important research content of scientometrics. However, the process of scientific research evaluation is a multi-disciplinary integration process. The object being evaluated includes projects, researchers, institutions, regions, and academic journals. Evaluation methods depend on evaluation object, content, criteria. And methods commonly used include peer review, Delphi survey and other expert evaluation method, gray system, AHP, fuzzy evaluation, data envelopment analysis, comprehensive evaluation, principal component analysis, factor analysis and other statistical methods, citation analysis, word frequency analysis, and so on.
