ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: Multipath error tends to be short delay for BeiDou-2 satellites in the application environments. Although BeiDou-2 is currently being used for such purposes, and has been found to be accurate enough in rural and suburban environments, BeiDou-2 is not very reliable in densely urban environments, where it is often desirable to have accurate information for an automobile navigation system. This paper is to assess the levels of multipath in satellite navigation measurements for the environments using a modern receiver. Some data were collected in the open static environment, rural dynamic environment and urban environments in order to analyze and discuss the levels of multipath.
