ABSTRACT

In Chinese Premier Li Keqiang’s keynote speech at the opening of the Boao Forum for Asian (BFA) Annual Conference 2014, China is ready to work with countries involved to draw up plans for building the The Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar(BCIM) Economic Corridor and will continue to promote the important projects of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road this year (Li, 2014). It could result in the redistribution and concentration of industrial activities in the two most populous and fastest-growing economies in Asia-China and India. World Bank organization grouped China with India as Asia’s emerging giants (Yusuf et al. 2010).
