ABSTRACT

Measuring accuracy of the traditional micro-distance measuring instrument is generally lower. For example, the measuring accuracy of the microscope in the Newton’s rings experiment is 0.01 mm, it means that 1 mm is divided into 100 parts by the mechanical transmission. Because of the air-way errors, the micrometer drum is rotated only according to one direction during measuring for reducing air-way errors. In the actual measurement, the air-way often occurs, the surveyors did not find. If there are too many air-ways in measuring, the errors will be accumulated, and eventually inaccurate data will be measured. The purpose of this design is to solve the lower measuring accuracy to avoid measurement errors caused by air-way.
