ABSTRACT

The Ultrasonic Motor is a recent new kind of small and special motor that plays an important role in many industrial fields. The working of the Ultrasonic Motor contains two energy conversion processes. First, it transmits the electric energy to the vibration mechanical energy of the stator based on the inverse piezoelectric effect. Second, it transmits the vibration mechanical energy of the stator to the kinetic energy of the rotator by the force of friction [1]. Because of the different working mechanism, it has many advantages compared with the traditional electromagnetic motors.
