ABSTRACT

As a technique of playing music, piano performance and teaching possess a very strong musical expertise and a wealth of academic content. Besides, piano performance is an art containing variety of artistic and cultural elements of piano-related content. Art includes a variety of areas, such as performance arts, plastic arts, language arts, and many other arts. The art of piano performance is actually a performance art. In fact, piano performance and teaching are innovative labor process, interpreting life. Art cannot be isolated from life; various kinds of art and their forms are also interrelated and interacted, thus generating the form of artistic synaesthesia [1]. For example, timbre is a concept involved in musical art. Timbre, a new expression way of musical cart, is developed from color art of fine arts. Therefore, the work practically analyzed piano performance and teaching from the perspective of artistic synaesthesia. Especially, the interrelated relationship between piano performance and piano teaching as well as their art compound analyzed, thus improving the mutual supplement among them.
