1 INTRODUCTION
The National Development and Reform Commission issued the notice on nuclear power price mechanism and approved the nuclear power benchmark price of 0.43¥/KWh. Implementation of benchmark price set a rigid demand for nuclear power cost, encouraging nuclear companies to constantly optimize project management and to reduce construction cost, which also promotes the strengthening of operation management in order to reduce operation cost. Benchmark price really makes contributions to increasing the eciency of nuclear investment, but in terms of the AP1000 project, the mechanism still has some problems. Current price mechanism hinders the extensive implementation of AP1000 technology, influencing the integral improvement in nuclear and facilities manufacturing industries. Therefore, an optimized benchmark price mechanism for AP1000 project was described.
