ABSTRACT

By way of face to face inquiry, surveying general survey of workers and three days of dietary intake; collecting fasting blood of workers, the urine during the work, the sweat of forehead, chest and back of steel workers during work (the excretion of sweat during work was determined by weight difference method, sweat excretion = the weight

1 INTRODUCTION

Workers exposed to high temperatures were one of the special operations groups. Working under high temperature conditions, metabolism enhanced, sweat excretion increased, people will lose a lot of minerals with the increasing sweat evaporation. If these minerals were not supplement timely, it will affect the normal physiological functions of the body, thereby affecting the health of workers[1-7]. Potassium and heart activity were closely linked, potassium concentration decreasing prone to heart arrhythmia. In addition, potassium metabolism disorders may lead to disruption of water distribution and acid-base balance disorders. In this state, people prone to fatigue, dizziness, loss of appetite, decreased blood pressure and other symptoms[8-10]. Therefore, the investigate on the intake and consumption of sweat and lever of potassium of high-temperature steel workers, explore the special nutritional needs of workers exposed to high temperatures,

before work and after urinating − the weight after work and after urinating + the weight before and after drinking + the weight before and after eating − the weight before and after defecation − the weight before and after urinating), to prepare for laboratory test[11-13].
