ABSTRACT

The main objective of college aerobics curriculum is to promote the coordinated development of students’ physical and mental quality, make them realize the importance of physical exercise and develop lifelong sports consciousness. Therefore, there is no doubt that students dominate in the aerobics class. So it requires physical education teachers in Colleges and universities to change the traditional ideas of teaching aerobics and stick to the studentoriented. By playing the correct guidance function its own, they will lead students to participate in aerobics teaching activities actively and enthusiastically. Besides, in order to fully stimulate students’ main body consciousness in aerobics class, aerobics teachers are supposed to establish harmonious relationship between students and create a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere of classroom teaching. So that students can be kept for a long time attention

2.3 Innovate the traditional model of aerobics teaching

In the traditional College Aerobics Teaching mode, the teaching model is too uniform and backward. The teaching content mostly selects the basic type. Besides, the teaching type is one-way, ignoring the full combination of aerobics teaching school specific conditions and regional characteristics and lacking new ideas of teaching aerobics. It requires that college aerobics teaching select various and targeted teaching methods. Furthermore it also demands to adapt to the teaching reality and the needs of students when strengthening the construction of aerobics teaching model. At the same time, teachers should attach importance to layered teaching strategy and happy teaching strategy in aerobics teaching. Then fully adapt to and meet the aerobics students’ knowledge and learning needs. According to the actual situation of aerobics class in college students, they ought to take fitness teaching as the main line. However, treat the development of students’ physical quality as the fundamental basis. Certainly, mainly center on fitness knowledge, fitness concept and fitness learning and develop students’ awareness of lifelong sports.
