Influence of fit tolerance between square tenon thickness and oval mortise width on ultimate pulling resistance

Following the common size of solid wood furniture frame part, the mortise specimen size was designed as 30 mm × 50 mm × 220 mm (thickness × width × length), the tenon specimen size was designed as 30 mm × 50 mm × 240 mm (thickness × width × length). In the center of the mortise specimen length direction and thickness direction, a mortise a 12 mm × 35 mm × 25 mm (width × length × depth) was processed on the specimen side, with a tenon size of 12 mm × 35 mm × 35 mm (length × width × depth), as shown in Figure 1.
