ABSTRACT
Kohn and his coworkers establish Density Functional Theory (DFT), which is quite different from the former wave-function method [3,4]. The remarkable feature of DFT is that it not only throws out fearsome works of computing many-body wave function, but also contains two interactions. So it makes a great progress in physics and chemistry. Kohn won the award of the Nobel Prize for chemistry in 1998.
