ABSTRACT

During pediatric dentistry teaching, the key is that the memory and exercise of basic knowledge are strengthen. At present, domestic pediatric dentistry course mainly adopts Traditional Teaching Method (TTM), in which the teachers are the subject who simply focus on imparting knowledge, and the students are the object who only accept knowledge passively. TTM often results in that student lack the ability of independent thinking and using knowledge to design treatment plan flexibly. The teaching process should include two mutual aspects, that is, teaching and learning (Zhou et al. 2011). The advantage of Interactive Teaching Method (ITM) is that teachers and the students can participate in the learning process collectively. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect difference between of two kinds of method, and to improve pediatric dentistry teaching level.
