Experimental research on arc discharge parameters of high-current ion source for EAST-NBI

Currents of filament (If) and arc (Iarc) were measured using the magnetic balanced hall current sensor. Voltages of filament (Vf) and arc (Varc) were obtained by a divider resistance. The pressure in discharge chamber was measured by a diaphragm vacuum gauge. Saturation ion current density of plasma (Ji) was measured using the electrostatic probe [8].
