ABSTRACT
The aim of this book is to facilitate the development of software that uses geometrical data directly from CAD programs, without the need to generate a mesh. Since the main aim of CAD programs is to display geometry, the data produced by them are not immediately suitable for numerical simulation. In the next part of our journey we look inside CAD programs and investigate ways of using the data for simulation.
