ABSTRACT
The national legislation (Decree-Law nº 182/2006, 6th September, transposed by Directive nº 2003/10/CE, of the European Parliament and of the Council of 6th February 2003) establishes limit values of personal exposure and also establishes the superior action and inferior action values, from which it is absolutely necessary to take some measures, stressing also a number of measures to be taken every time those values are reached or exceeded. It is also needed in the range of this legal structure, a suitable control of the workers’ health, namely through the audiometric exams.
