The work of the police officer is guided by exposure to noise, since it is present in the shooting of a firearm, radio communicator in city traffic, sirens of vehicles in urban noise, among others (Heupa, Gonçalves & Coifman 2011, Guida et al. 2010). These variables are responsible for signs of attention deficit, lack of concentration and irritability in decision-making, factors which contribute to the increase in the number of accidents (Rosa, 2012).
