ABSTRACT

In fact, psychosocial risks and work-related stress usually go together. Being sure that this is a pure answer to the misfit resulting from requests and pressures to which the person is subject while performing his tasks, bearing his skills and abilities. High demands and low control of work provision conditions are rightly considered risk factors for both physical and mental health (Melchior, 2007; Vahtera & Kivimäki, 2008). There is a consistent relation between health complaints made by workers and exposure to psychosocial risks, which translates into a set of consequences for the individual (physical, mental and social) and organizational (absenteeism, illness, satisfaction, productivity, etc.) (Cox et al., 2000).
