ABSTRACT
For the gathering of data was elaborated a questionnaire subdivided on two chapters:
1. Type of organization of the safety and health: − Face sheet; − Preparation and presentation sheet; − Actualizations/corrections sheet; − Distribution sheet; − Signings sheet; − Global index;
2. Elements to incorporate on the safety and health program: − Descriptive note that includes: objective defi-
nition, previous communication, appropriate regulation, functional organogram, work schedule, work accident insurance and other,
1 INTRODUCTION
Historically, the work safety and health theme has been occupying a relevant role in governmental politics of industrialized countries, as a consequence of social movements and the evolution of philosophical and politic thought, accordingly Cabral, F. (2011). The national states and the international organizations have been adopting social guide-lines in order to normalize the work conditions. The research work presented here focused on the analysis of the safety and health plans quality, on the project stage, referring to civil construction work in Vila Nova de Gaia council, in Portugal, using the ruling legislation, specifically the Decree nr. 273/03, October 29th.
