ABSTRACT
Space Management (SM) has always been defined under the facilities management scope of work. This can be seen through the definition of facilities management (FM) from it infancy until now. The most acceptable definition for FM is the practice of coordinating the physical workplace with the people and work of the organisation; it integrates the principles of business administration, architecture, and the behavioural and engineering sciences (De Toni & Nonino, 2009). In order to grasp the concept of space management, it is rational to understand the concept of facilities management first.
