ABSTRACT
For office buildings the façade is after the largest surface area of the building perimeter where direct heat exchange between the outside and inside environment takes place. Due to more stringent energy and environmental targets set by governments and the higher comfort requirements (thermal, daylight, acoustics, outside view) required by clients and tenants, traditional façades in high rise office buildings face difficulties to comply.
