ABSTRACT

Enterprises rely on services provided to them by other parties for the realization of their own service offers. The interconnections in terms of services offered and required by enterprises shape complex webs called service network. Furthermore, service network is not phenomena occurring only among distinct businesses. In fact, Service Network (SN) exists as well inside enterprises because of the interplay among business units, divisions, departments, etc [1]. SN are at the crossroad of many different and converging disciplines, each approaching the topics from a different point of view and focusing on different aspects [2]. SN system’s goal is to build a comprehensive service management platform, which support higher recall rate and higher precision service discovery mechanism on the basis of the function of the traditional service registry, and support automatic/manual combination of Web services. In addition, as a service management platform the service network system provides a set of complete solutions to support re-development of the service network, and makes possible to develop a large number of Web services-based systems. With the rapid development of the thought of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and software as a service (SaaS), a large number of public Web services have emerged. UDDI (Universal Description, Discovery and Integration) provides a mechanism of service registry and discovery, but UDDI service discovery model is too crude,

and can not provide effective support for automatic service composition. The lack of platform and large-scale service management specification made incomplete to SOA. Moreover, the current SOA infrastructure is lack of supporting automated processing of Web services. Build new SOA infrastructure is becoming more and more important.
