ABSTRACT
The rapid development of science and technology in the 21st century has laid a solid technical foundation for the development of knowledge economy, hence provides broad space for the revolution of education. The integration of multimedia techniques and second language teaching has become a focus in the field of foreign language teaching and research. Nowadays, the application of multimedia and computer technology is playing more and more significant roles in college English teaching and learning in China, among which MCALL (Multimedia Computer Assisted Language Learning) has shown prominent influence.
