The world today is undergoing great changes and major adjustments. With the globalization of world economy and revolution in science and technology quicken the human civilization. In addition, the world competition of synthetically national power becomes more intense because of that. The cultural soft power, as a vital factor that weighs comprehensive national power of a state to lose by force, plays a growing role in the development of economy and society. If China wants to be in intense competition remain invincible, achieve competitive advantage, just constantly promoting the construction of Hard power which included economy power, technology power and country defense power does not go far enough. We should also focus on developing the construction of national culture and promoting the national cultural soft power. Science news media is an important carrier of cultural soft power, intensifying the development and reforms of news media, increasing the communication capacity and influence power of news media are of great importance.
