PID controller is the core component of common industrial control loop applications. There are generally two kinds, in the nineteen eighties, PID controller is simulated by the PID controller, the hardware (mainly electronic components, including resistors, capacitors, inductors) to realize its function, but there are parts of complex, easy to damage the aging problem, not flexible collocation. With the development of electronic technology, especially the processor CPU, digital PID controller has been rapid development, compared with the analog PID controller advantages are: flexibility, can according to the test and experience online adjustment parameter, control performance can be better. Of course, extensive application of digital PID controller is also inseparable from the sensor, actuator and the rapid development of A/D, D/A conversion module.
