ABSTRACT
The LV power line as an alternative communication channel for speed over Mb/s were confirmed. However, unlike other existing and mature wired communications such as unshielded twisted pair, coaxial and optical fiber communication, the enviroment in PLC is extremly harsh. Namely, the PLC faces serious attenuation, various noises, stochastic phase shift, uncertain multipath interferences and so on. All the above factors cause austere challenge to the PLC. So, the priori of using the power line as the communication medium is familiar with the charicteristic of power line channel clearly and fully.
