ABSTRACT

Compared with traditional processing technology, laser cutting for sheet has the following advantages: high quality \high efficiency \high flexibility\ and low cost. Therefore, the study on the laser cutting not only enhances the development of the processing industry but also broadens the application horizon. As we know, laser cutting for sheet is a combination of aerification and melting, which is affected by many factors such as machine tool, material and processing methods. The other factors include Laser power control, cutting speed, focal position, depth of focus, types of auxiliary gas and pressure. In fact, laser cutting technology also involves the a setting of line of lead-in and lead-out, arranging auxiliary cutting path reasonably, determination of optimal torch path, selection of the process parameters, which was neglected in some degree in the recent study. The reasons are complicated. On the one hand, no systematic study has been made on the material processing. So there is no contents of automatic processing in the automatic programming. Or there is no through study on this area. So this paper aims to study this processing technology and the application of it in the CAPP.
