ABSTRACT
Persistent growth of energy consumption in the world may be explained by the objective needs of economic development on the one hand, and limited or irregular positioning of natural ore and energy resources on the planet on the other hand. Hence extraction of natural resources, efficiency of their transformation and utilization rank first among the problems of economic, energy and ecological safety. Today these issues have to be tackled in conditions of active and even aggressive energy markets redistribution, their globalization and diversification of supply sources, use of nuclear energy and alternative energy sources, mitigating the impact of energy on the environment.
