ABSTRACT

Utilization of waste heat in geotechnical, technical systems and technological processes is a way to improve energy efficiency. For geotechnical systems of mines the amount of waste heat is significant. At the same time energy for heating or hot water preparation is required. So one of the perspective tendencies is to use heat pump to utilize waste heat and to use it further in heating systems. Heat pump technology is widely used due to its energy efficiency and environmental safety. But when working conditions differ from rated values, efficiency of the heat pump decreases. In the most cases heat demand and amount of waste heat are unstable, which causes increase in specific energy consumption of the heat pump. It is proposed to analyze parameters that influence heat pump energy efficiency and offer approaches to improve it.
