ABSTRACT

According to the investigation of Taiwan Society of Sleep Medicine (TSSM), more than 4.5 million people have sleeping barrier and 2.5 million people have suffered from chronic insomnia in Taiwan in 2006. Because sleeping quality is strongly relative to stress (Engel, 2000) stress relaxation and providing sound sleeping quality are the main aims of this paper. In general, methods of stress relaxation are listed as follow: medical control treatment, exercise and homework treatment, breathing control treatment, musical treatment and Biofeedback treatment et. al (Glen, 1985) The principle of Biofeedback was adopted in this paper and was applied to train the people with sleeping barrier to realize it is their own ability to exercise self-control and self-adjustment (Williams Paul, 1975).
