An analysis of an optimised solar thermal chimney for desert deployment

The authors have developed a steady-state, incompressible flow model of the STC with Boussinesq axisymmetric collector flow based largely on (Bernardes et al., 2003). It includes shear stress momentum losses in the collector and chimney. This model has been developed from simpler models by

the same authors (Cottam et al., 2012; Cottam et al., 2013).
