ABSTRACT

The pitting potentials of F1-5 are shown in Fig. 1. It can be seen that the corrosion resistance of F1-5 improve with the increase of chromium content, and molybdenum added F5 shows a superior corrosion resistance to that of 304. At the same chromium content level, F2 with low carbon and nitrogen contents has a better corrosion resistance than that of F1 with higher carbon and nitrogen, and F4 with very low carbon and nitrogen, titanium and niobium stabilized has a better corrosion resistance than that of F3.
